About our name…

Biso: derived from the first two letters in Birmingham and software and is pronounced: bee-so.

Collective: a cooperative enterprise marked by similarity among the members of the group.

In our case, Biso is a collective of B2B, mission-critical SaaS businesses. We partner with leadership and their teams to leverage our experience as operators, not financial engineers. Our intent is to invest in the long-term success of your company, team, customers and brand.

We start by ensuring we support the building, enhancement and maintenance of a healthy culture, which we believe is the long-term, sustainable competitive advantage of any great enduring company.

We then provide input and guidance based on our hands-on experience creating and scaling SaaS businesses, including areas like go-to-market strategy, pricing, renewals, product management, development, customer service and data-driven decision making, as well as hiring, professional development and leadership development.

Also, we are backed by a single source of capital…a multi-billion dollar, diversified, global private company with a buy-and-hold mentality.

This is quite different than how many acquisitions play out with strategic buyers or financial sponsors (private equity). We believe our approach is a far better fit for some, but not all. If you think we might be a fit for you, we encourage you to talk to us.

founder & CEO

Biso is led by a SaaS operator passionate about building healthy cultures, exceptional teams, and great products all while obsessing about customers — and doing so for the long-term.

Prior to founding Biso, Dave was CEO of Daxko for over 15 years. He led the SaaS company’s growth from an early-stage startup with just a handful of customers to the market leader with over 10,000 customers in 68 countries and a team of 350.

During his tenure as CEO, Daxko executed 8 acquisitions and went through 3 separate private equity rounds.

Additionally, Daxko received considerable attention for its approach to culture, innovation and growth. Three times it has been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America and the company enjoyed 15 straight years of double-digit revenue growth and very healthy EBITDA margins.

Dave resides in Birmingham, AL with his wife (Susan), 3 teenagers, and 2 dogs.
